How to Join
Petersfield Cricket Club Colts section welcomes boys and girls provided that you
are at least 5 years old and are not older than 18 on 1st September of
the school year in which the cricket season falls. If you are older you will not
be eligible to play in the colts competitions but will be very welcome to join
the senior part of the club. All colts are eligible to play in the senior teams
under the ECB guidelines.
If you wish to join the club then there are two opportunities prior
to or during the winter nets and prior to or during the summer playing season.
You will be required to complete a

Membership Process
As we have already advised, for the first time in six years, we have increased
membership fees. By prudent budgeting and tight controls on costs, we have
managed to keep these to £10 in total for winter and summer, and are offering a
discount of £5 for prompt payment in full. In addition, in order to allow the
coaches to concentrate on coaching and reduce the administrative burden on them
and for insurance purposes, we have changed the membership process this year,
and require membership forms and payments to be made before the coaching can be
provided.
The application form is attached, and can be returned to either our Treasurer
Tim Boulton, whose details are on the application form, or myself at 3 Hanger
Way, Petersfield, Hants, GU31 4QE. If you would like to make payment directly

Please can you pay both together at the start of the winter coaching sessions.
To save administration time we can only accept seperate payments by exception
unless you do not attend the winter sessions.
Payment may be made by cheque payable to Petersfield Cricket Club and sent
together with membership forms to
The Treasurer, Petersfield Cricket Club, 78, The Causeway, Petersfield,
Hampshire, GU31 4JS. Please put the name of the member for
whom payment is being made on the back of the cheque.
Alternatively, if you have access to your bank account on-line, you can make
your payment directly into the club’s bank account. If you wish to use this
method of payment our bank details can be sent to you by the treasurer via
e-mail at
timboulton@ntlworld.com. Please put "PCC Payment Details" in the subject of
the e-mail.
Winter Registration entitles you to
- Attend
all the weekly indoor coaching sessions provided by our ECB coaches at your
appropriate age group.
- Attend
all the senior nets sessions if you wish to try and get into the senior teams
Summer Registration entitles you to
- Attend
all the weekly outdoor coaching sessions provided by our ECB coaches at your
appropriate age group.
- Use of
the nets at Penns Place
when these are not in use by the teams

If you are not sure about whether you wish to join then you are
invited to attend two coaching sessions for free to see whether you enjoy
cricket.
Petersfield CC have colts teams at all age groups – Under 9, 11, 13,
15, 17 and 19 and we run development squads for the U7, U9, U11 and U13 age groups.
We also run teams for girls at U11, U13 and U15.
